** This Brake Package has been exclusively designed for the Nissan 350z models, The brake discs are designed to expel gas's and water away from the brake disc surface, Hence why the brake disc style is dimpled and grooved. This setup is also best suited for the British rainy weather. Regards to the nature of the 350z brake discs because they have a bigger surface diameter of over 300mm. This is also a major reason to opt for the option ""dimpled and grooved"" over ""drilled and grooved"". we do agree the drilled and grooved option would have cooled the brake disc temperatures more efficiently, But that is not something we can afford to risk. The reason for this is, if we drill holes in the brake disc surface we cause a risk of the brake discs cracking from the drill holes. We have countered this feature to cool the brake discs efficiently by benefiting the discs with pillar venting technology. This will help control and keep brake temperatures low efficiently **

Dimpled & Grooved: The key benefits of the dimpled and grooved discs are that brake fade is significantly reduced. the science behind this brake style is the dimples and grooves deglaze the pad and vents gasses that build up between the disc and the pad during braking. The additional slots (vents) dissipate heat more effectively, thus greatly reducing the risk of deformation, vibration of the disc at extreme operating temperatures.
Silver Coating: All Kinetix sports discs are Painted Silver to prevent the discs from corrosion in areas not swept by the brake pad. Optimum brake performance is realised after the zinc coating has been removed from the pad track area, which can take up to 100 miles. It is normal that a small amount of noise is exhibited from Kinetix slotted rotors when they are first applied. This noise gradually diminishes and at around 1,000 miles of road use the noise will be minimal. By nature of the way this product works, Kinetix sport slotted discs will always make some noise and this is not cause for concern, it is not a safety issue and is not recovered by warranty.
